Former director of track & field and cross country at North Park University, Skip has been recognized by USATF for the Cross Country Council Award of Merit in 2000, and the USATF President's Award in 2008. Skip's aptitude for leadership creates successful teams on and off the field. He graduated from West Aurora High School, with a B.A. from Northern Iowa University and a M.A. from University of Florida.
Mike lives and breathes track and field. He was a part of a 10-man, 100-mile, world-record relay team, and was the chairman of the local organizing committee for the 2004 USATF. National Junior Olympics Cross Country Championships at Busse Woods, and has been writing columns and publishing articles on track and field for nearly 40 years. He graduated from Thornridge High School and Eastern Illinois University.
With 50 years in track & field, as an athlete and a coach, Al founded RealTiming Inc., a regional timing company that provides chip-timing and photo-timing services for cross country, road races, and track meets. Al also coached cross country at St. Charles East from 2006-2008. When he isn't lacing up, you can find him in the classroom as a professor of Physics and Engineering at Kishwaukee College. He is a graduate of Proviso West High School, with a B.S. and M.S. degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
