NORTHWESTERN MEDICINE CROSS COUNTRY COURSE

The Northwestern Medicine Cross Country course provides spectators with an unparalleled view of events held on the Course, and a spectacular panorama of the Fox Valley area and the downtown Chicago skyline.

The Course is actually seven different courses with distances of 2 km, 3 km, 4 km,     3 miles, 5 km, 6 km, 8 km, and 10 km, by using different combinations of loops.  The most common distances are the high school 3 mile course, the college women's      6 km course, and the college men's 8 km course.  These three course maps are shown below.

The Course receives no financial support from Kane County or the Kane County Forest Preserve.  To keep fees to the host schools low, we have to make up the rest of our expenses through sponsorships and admission fees.  Spectator admission is $3 per adult, $1 per high school student, and free for under 14.  All revenue goes to support the operation and maintenance of the Course.  Thank you for your support!
