ABOUT THE CHICAGO AREA TRACK & FIELD ORGANIZING COMMITTEE

CATFOC is a volunteer-based coalition of local high school and collegiate coaches, running enthusiasts, and community leaders.  The organization’s mission is to promote cross country, track & field, and road racing in the metropolitan Chicago area.  CATFOC is an Illinois not-for-profit corporation with 501(c)(3) charity status.

NORTHWESTERN MEDICINE CROSS COUNTRY COURSE

With panoramic views of the Chicago skyline and the Fox River valley, the Northwestern Medicine Cross Country Course was designed for youth, high school, collegiate, and championship events.

THE COURSE

A Premier Facility for Cross Country

With an 80 meter wide curved starting line and a 550 meter starting straightaway, the Course was designed for large high school and college meets.  The course provides a first-class experience for both athletes and spectators.

The Northwestern Medicine Cross Country Course is an asset to our community, attracting visitors and business.  Most importantly, the Course is an investment in the young people who participate in the sport that we all love.
